Exercise of the River Flotilla "Ušće 2021”

The second river detachment from the River Flotilla conducted an exercise of key elements of the unit for commanding forces in the operation called "Ušće 2021".
The exercise was conducted in order to test the level of training of the detachment command for commanding forces in the defense of inland waterways and to improve the ability to perform assigned tasks on and in the area of rivers, navigable canals and lakes.
During several days of training activities, the ability to command a group of patrol boats in the protection of river traffic was tested, from alerting the unit to performing the assigned tasks – sailing on the route, securing convoys, controlling and reconnaissance of waterways and combat search and rescue.
The results achieved in the exercise activities confirmed the high level of training of the unit for the timely and proper use of a group of patrol boats in operations on inland waterways.
