Meeting Between Chief of General Staff, SAF and KFOR Commander

High Level Meeting of Military-Technical Agreement Joint Implementation Commission (MTA JIC) was held today in KFOR HQ “Film City” in Priština. During the meeting, Chief of General Staff SAF General Ljubiša Diković and KFOR Commander Major General Salvatore Farina discussed the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and Ground Safety Zone (GSZ), as well as future cooperation of Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR.

This has been the second meeting of Chief of General Staff SAF and KFOR Commander since the Italian general took over command over members of international forces in Kosovo and Metohija in September 2013.
After official talks, SAF delegation headed by General Diković visited Serbian Orthodox Monastery Visoki Dečani.
MTA JIC comprises KFOR HQ Commission and representatives of Republic of Serbia security forces Commission.
The meetings of MTA JIC have been regularly held on various levels since 1999 with an aim of implementing Military-Technical Agreement.
This has been the second meeting of Chief of General Staff SAF and KFOR Commander since the Italian general took over command over members of international forces in Kosovo and Metohija in September 2013.
