Visit to the On-duty Unit Tasked with Air Space Protection

The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, spent Christmas morning with members of the Serbian Armed Forces permanently posted in the "Major Milan Tepić" barracks in Jakovo, who are even during holidays engaged in control and protection of air space of the Republic of Serbia.
It is a battery on duty, part of the Third Missile Division of 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade, kept in constant state of Air Defence combat readiness.
The Chief of the General Staff extended the greetings for the most joyous Christian holiday - Christmas to all members of the unit, with wishes for good health, personal and family success and he also attended the demonstration of capabilities to be engaged in case of intrusions into the sovereign air space.
General Mojsilović was ensured that the unit personnel is highly trained, motivated and enabled to execute the entrusted tasks and also gave them credit for great contribution to safety and security of air sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia. AF and AD make maximal efforts to ensure the control and protection of sovereignty of the air space.
AF and AD Commander Lieutenant General Duško Žarković was also present during the visit.
