Serbian Armed Forces’ Infantry Units Undergoing Tactical Training

At the training grounds and exercise areas of the Serbian Armed Forces, infantry units are currently going through an intensive cycle of training needed to undertake combat actions during defensive operations.

In the course of training, the professional component is improving proficiency in using critical weapons in combat and performing tactical tasks on the battlefield, and, thus, in employing effectively forces on operation.

Modern armored fighting vehicles, direct fire support assets and a wide range of small arms are used for training. In this phase, the focus is on joint tactical drills needed to conduct anti-personnel and anti-tank operations.

Subsequently, members of the infantry units are supposed to conduct tactical exercises and live firing in winter conditions, when the results of this training cycle will be put into action.

Collective training, carried out in the Serbian Armed Forces’ units in predefined cycles, is instrumental in sustaining high combat readiness and improving the ability to conduct combat operations in all terrain, tactical and weather conditions that the units can encounter while fulfilling intended tasks.
