Anti-terrorist Exercise of the Special Operations Battalion "Griffons"

As part of the Joint Tactical Exercise with live fire "Lightning Strike 2021", the Special Operations Battalion "Griffons" from the 72nd Special Operations Brigade is conducting anti-terrorist exercises and tactical exercises in the region of Deliblatska peščara.
With the support of Air Force and Air Defence units, members of the unit practice tactics, techniques and procedures used in the destruction of a terrorist group that has occupied a facility of special significance.
Tactical exercises on the ground, helicopter landing, dives, reconnaissance and intelligence gathering are just some of the complex training activities that members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade are carrying out as part of the exercise "Lightning Strike 2021".
Participation in the exercise "Lightning Strike 2021" improves the capabilities of the unit for conducting assigned tasks and effective response to potential challenges, risks and security threats in all land, meteorological and combat conditions.
