Marking the Day of 72nd Special Operations Brigade

A military ceremony was held today in the "Rastko Nemanjić" barracks in Pančevo on the occasion of the Day of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade, which is marked on January 27 in memory of the first successfully completed combat mission of this unit.
In front of the ceremonial line up of brigade members, the results of the past year were summarized, the best team was announced and awards and commendations were given to the most prominent officers.
In view of the results achieved in 2021, marked by further strengthening of the brigade's capabilities and significant equipping with state-of-the-art weapons and military equipment, the professionalism, commitment and high level of training of unit members were highlighted, all of which has been proven during numerous exercises and engagements home and abroad.
In the barracks "Rastko Nemanjić", members of the unit today also marked St Sava’s Day – the Patron Saint of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade.
