Members of the 1st Army Brigade’s artillery, armored and infantry units have conducted combat training in field conditions at the Training Ground “Pasuljanske Livade” over the last few days.
This training was carried out with the aim of improving further the skills of the professional staff in using critical weapons in these units and overall ability of the Brigade to carry out combat operations at the tactical level.
The activities, which took several days, were aimed at practicing the tactics and defensive and offensive actions of artillery, armored and infantry units, as well as executing scheduled live firing. It was fired from M-84 tanks, self-propelled howitzers 122 mm Gvozdika, automatic grenade launchers, mortars and long-range rifles; very good and excellent firing results were achieved in rather complex weather conditions.
At the same time, the ability of the units to organize life and work in field conditions was checked, from arranging the camp premises, setting up a command post and telecommunication security to creating conditions for the accommodation and food for the engaged personnel.
Successful implementation of the training activities on the ground improved both individual skills of members of the 1st Army Brigade and overall combat readiness of this unit to fulfill the assigned missions and tasks.
