Military Holidays Marked

Holidays of the artillery and military police, as well as the Day of the Mixed Artillery Brigade, have been marked with military ceremonies in the garrisons of the Serbian Armed Forces today.
The ceremonies included reading the holiday greetings, summarizing the results achieved in the recent period, and presenting awards and commendations to the most successful individuals.
The holiday celebration was an opportunity to point out the professionalism and dedication of the artillery and MP members to the implementation of all assigned tasks, which made a full contribution to building the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The Artillery Day and Mixed Artillery Brigade Day are celebrated on 14 September in memory of the day when, in 1918, the artillery preparation for the breakthrough of the Salonica Front began.
The Military Police Day is celebrated on 14 September in memory of the day in 1955, when the military police of the Yugoslav People's Army was formed.
