Individual Skills Assessment of Soldiers on Military Service

Monday, 1.7.2024 | Training
Soldiers on voluntary military service of the March 2024 intake, whose first training period lasts four months, underwent individual specialist skills assessment at the Army Training Center in Požarevac.

This group consists of soldiers of the armored units and military police and reconnaissance specialties of the infantry, whose specialist training lasts a month longer due to specific and complex military tasks they perform.

They previously went through all the contents of individual tactical training, learnt to handle personal and branch-specific weapons, performed all scheduled firing and passed the physical fitness test.

During the two-day skills assessment, the soldiers practically carried out tactical tasks and demonstrated a high level of acquired knowledge and skills in working on combat assets and handling military equipment within their specialties.

This is followed by collective training in tank and mechanized battalions, i.e. in military police and reconnaissance units of the Serbian Armed Forces, where soldiers will have the opportunity to upgrade their acquired knowledge and actively participate in the execution of daily tasks, until the end of their military service.
