Artillery Brigade’s Combat Crews Undergo Training

Training of combat crews of self-propelled howitzers 155 mm B-52 M-15 Nora is underway at the locations where the Mixed Artillery Brigade is deployed and at training grounds in the vicinity of Niš.
This training is aimed at sustaining high proficiency in providing artillery support to SAF evolution units while conducting operations and training professional soldiers for additional duties of the crews of this weapon, in order to ensure interchangeability of the composition and enhance toughness and combat resilience of the unit.
In this training phase, crews focus on practicing reconnaissance and gun emplacement, using automated fire control system and delivering indirect fire, in accordance with the set standards and norms for effective action.
Afterwards, they are supposed to conduct field training and firing, where the level of tactical and firearms skills in performing specific tasks will be checked.
The self-propelled howitzer 155 mm B-52 M-15 Nora is a fully automated system characterized by high accuracy and precision of artillery fire, with minimum time for gun emplacement, leaving the firing position and data processing. Its introduction into operational use has significantly improved the unit’s ability to engage targets of tactical, operational and strategic importance.
