Training of Future NCOs Attending Leadership Course

At NCO Training Centre "Sergeant Milunka Savić" in Pančevo, the 33rd Leadership Course is underway. This is the first level of professional soldiers’ advancement for the duties of SAF NCOs.
The six-week course is being attended by 87 soldiers selected from all SAF units. For that period of time, they are intended to master the skills for commanding a group, crew or team properly, safely and efficiently and for performing the tasks of Deputy Squad Commander.
The Course curriculum comprises theoretical and practical contents from different areas such as leadership, knowledge of military regulations, military topography, close-order, tactical, fire and physical training, in order for soldiers to acquire a variety of knowledge they will find useful at their initial NCO duties.
The professional soldiers who complete successfully this educational level become eligible to be referred to the Basic NCO Course upon the completion of which they will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant and join the SAF NCO Corps.
