Training with New Armored Vehicles of Domestic Production

Units of the 1st Army Brigade are undergoing combat training and training in maintaining new APCs of domestic production belonging to the armament of the Serbian Armed Forces.

These are 4x4 mine-protected combat vehicles, intended for safe transport of soldiers on the battlefield, on all types of terrain and in different weather and tactical conditions.

In the first phase, the training activity is carried out by a permanent crew composed of the commander/gunner and driver, after which the training process continues with an embarked infantry squad.

Afterwards, there will be tactical drills in field conditions and live-fire exercises, so that members of the unit could be fully trained in using APCs in combat, independently and in interoperability with other Serbian Armed Forces’ units.

The combat vehicle is armed with a 12.7 mm machine gun, has side loopholes and smoke grenade launchers, and its introduction into operational use improved the capabilities of maneuvering, firepower, launching attacks on the move and protecting SAF infantry units.
