Intensive Activities at Joint Exercise "Maneuvers 2022"

Having completed the activities at their primary locations, some SAF units that had moved to an active phase of the exercise continued with their drills at permanent and temporary training grounds as part of Joint Exercise "Maneuvers 2022".
During this part of the active phase of the exercise, the deployed SAF forces marched to the exercise facilities, displacing the command posts and fire positions and carrying out a variety of tactical missions on the move. Further on, units of different arms, branches and services are to perform joint tactical drills, as well as live fire tactical exercises.
The exercise also involves participation from some of the SAF reserve personnel who arrived at the units at the end of last week; members of the general and logistics services are providing support ensuring unhindered signals, air surveillance and warning, CBRN protection, transport, meals, replenishment of ordnance, medical protection and materiel’s proper functioning.
The SAF forces will be executing exercise activities until 06 November, aiming to improve further the commands’ and units’ capabilities for planning and conducting operations, preventative deployment of forces, organizing cooperation and interoperability, as well as checking the combat-readiness for responding to challenges, risks and threats to the security of the Republic of Serbia.
