Chairman of the EU Military Committee visiting Serbia

At the invitation of the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, Chairman of the European Union Military Committee, General Claudio Graziano is visiting Serbia.
General Graziano visited the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff today, where he and General Mojsilović discussed the current political and security situation in the region and worldwide, the engagement of the Serbian Armed Forces in the EU multinational operations and EU HELBROC Battle Group, as well as possibilities for improving cooperation.
The meeting reaffirmed the Republic of Serbia's determination to be a military neutral country, and possibilities for further development of cooperation through existing EU Common Security and Defence Policy projects.
Speaking about the participation of our country in the EU military operations, General Graziano emphasized that Serbia, with its credible participation, sends a clear message that it is a reliable and responsible partner.
During his stay in Serbia, Chairman of the EU Military Committee had separate meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ivica Dačić and Minister of Defence, Mr Aleksandar Vulin, and delivered a lecture to the 63rd Class of General Staff Course students. In continuation of his visit, he will meet with representatives of the Ministry of Defence Military Health Department and tour the Military Medical Academy.
