Military ceremonies have been held in the Serbian Armed Forces today to mark the Day of the 3rd Army Brigade and Day of the 3rd Training Center.
Day of the 3rd Army Brigade, marked in memory of 07 October 1912, when the 2nd Infantry Regiment (1st line) of the Morava Division “Knjaz Mihailo”, better known as the “Iron Regiment”, entered the First Balkan War, has been celebrated in Niš. On the occasion of the holiday, results of the work in the recent period were outlined and the most successful individuals presented with awards in front of the ceremonial formation of the Brigade members.
The holiday celebration was an opportunity to emphasize once again the professionalism, expertise and moral strength of the 3rd Brigade members while completing the intended tasks and their contribution to the development of the overall capabilities of the Army.
A military ceremony has been held on the occasion of the Day of the 3rd Training Center at the “Field Marshal Petar Bojović” Barracks in Leskovac, commemorating 07 October 1918, the day when the Serbian army liberated Leskovac.
The ceremony was an opportunity to highlight the unit’s achievements and award the best individuals. As part of the holiday celebration, there were a campaign “Open Day” and display of weapons and military equipment that many citizens and primary and secondary school students were able to visit.
