Visit to Serbian Armed Forces’ Units in Garrisons of Sombor and Novi Sad

Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović has visited the 1st Training Centre and part of the units of the Signal Brigade and 224th Electronic Warfare Centre today.
At the “Aerodrom” Barracks in Sombor, he gained insight into the organization of life and work at the 1st Cntre and the state of facilities for training permanent and reserve personnel and infrastructure facilities for the accommodation of war materiel.
Afterwards, in a wider area of Novi Sad, he visited the telecommunications and IT node and forward group for electronic support, observing the conditions in which members of the Serbian Armed Forces perform their tasks at detached facilities.
During today’s tour, General Glišović has spoken with soldiers and officers and received reports from commanders on the degree to which critical tasks are fulfilled with the proposals for further improvement of the condition and capabilities of the units they command.
