Marking the Technical Test Centre Jubilee

Today, a celebration was held to mark the Day of the Technical Test Centre - December 14th in memory of the day when the Air Force Test Group was established in 1933, whose responsibility was the testing of armaments and military equipment.
On the occasion of the holiday, a ceremony was held in the Guard Club in Topčider, where, along with a rich cultural and artistic programme, the results of the work in the year behind us were summarized and awards were presented to individuals and institutions with which this military research institution established a fruitful collaboration.
In reviewing the achieved results, it was pointed out that, in the year in which we mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Technical Test Centre and the 90th anniversary of testing armaments and military equipment, the research and development potential of the Centre has continued to strengthen, which today can rightly be proud of highly professional personnel, modern testing and evaluating equipment and contemporary testing methods based on national and foreign military and civil standards.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović, representatives of the organizational units of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as representatives of research institutions and companies, and numerous guests.
