Tactical Training of Mechanized and Tank Units

At the Serbian Armed Forces’ training grounds, the 4th Army Brigade’s mechanized and tank units are currently going through an intensive cycle of training in taking combat actions during defensive operations.
While training, professional members of the armored units and infantry are improving their abilities to use critical weapons in combat and perform intended tasks in interoperability, which ensures the efficient use of forces on operations and high combat readiness of the Brigade.
The focus is on joint tactical drills on the move and in contact with the enemy, using tanks and IFVs and integrating tactical and fire procedures on the battlefield.
In the coming period, members of these units will be expected to perform firing practices, then tactical exercises and life firing at specialized ranges of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Joint drills of mechanized and armored units, which are in charge of maneuver in the Army operations, improve the competence of combat systems crews, team efficiency and speed of reaction, and thus the ability of these units to carry out combat actions, independently and in interoperability with other units.
