Armed Forces Helping at Lučani

At the invitation of the Headquarters for Emergency Situations of the Municipality of Lučani, members of the Serbian Armed Forces have been engaged from the early morning hours in this municipality that has been affected by heavy precipitation.
More than 50 members of the 22 Infantry Battalion of the Second Brigade of the Land Forces from Požega are engaged in eliminating the consequences of flooding and helping the population.
Dragačevo High School in Guča suffered the most damage along with the villages of Viča near Guča and Đerac near Lučani, where members of the Infantry Battalion are helping the locals to clean roads and flood deposits from the households.
The Serbian Armed Forces are ready, at the invitation of the Crisis Headquarters, to engage all the available machinery and personnel to assist in the emergency situation, proclaimed in several municipalities of the Republic of Serbia.
Just as on numerous previous occasions, members of the Serbian Armed Forces are among the first to respond to the call for assistance in the areas affected by heavy precipitation. They are always with their people and are ready to provide all the necessary help to the population.
