On the occasion of the coming holiday marking the Resurrection of our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ, I send my hearty congratulations to all Christ-loving Orthodox members of the Serbian Armed Forces with best wishes and greetings:
CHRIST IS RISEN – INDEED HE IS RISEN!
While protecting our proud Motherland, the Republic of Serbia, with your dignified service, you showed your determination to persevere courageously in your personal feat, regardless of the increasingly challenging circumstances that are threatening the stability in the entire world. Like good children who never forget their parents, especially when they are old or week, you too have not overlooked and neglected the difficulties our Mother Serbia is facing, remaining faithful to her, dedicated, always ready to defend her from all visible and invisible enemies, even at the cost of your personal life.
The joy of the holiday of the victory of Life over death - Easter - radiates the spirit of hope in our common Orthodox faith, which, ennobled by the teaching of St. Sava, is eternal proof that this land of ours does not have to be only the place of our birth and repose, but Holy Serbia, the land of Resurrection.
With faith in your incorruptible and inalienable determination to dedicate your life and work in the Serbian Armed Forces to the timeless values that we adopted and inherited since the time of Saint Sava and his father St. Stefan Nemanja, I wish you good health and Easter holidays spent joyfully with your loved ones.
