Training with Armored Combat Vehicles “Lazar 3”

In the 3rd Army Brigade’s infantry battalion armed with “Lazar 3” armored combat vehicles, collective training is underway needed to undertake combat actions on defensive and offensive operations.
Training is carried out in the training area and peacetime location of the unit with the aim of maintaining and improving the skills of battalion members in using this modern armored vehicle in combat and providing additional training for professional soldiers who have recently been appointed to the unit.
In accordance with the training plan, “Lazar” crews and embarked firing squads are practicing tactical actions and procedures necessary for an efficient execution of combat missions on Army operations. During training, they are also improving what they have already learned about vehicle systems, subsystems, weapons and how to maintain this combat vehicle.
In the next phase, they are expected to conduct tactical exercises and live firing in winter conditions, which will be another opportunity to test in practice the results of intensive training they are going through.
Through continuous implementation of numerous training activities and practical training with the Lazar 3 armored fighting vehicle, a high level of combat readiness of the infantry battalion is provided as well as confidence of the crews in the reliability and efficiency of this vehicle, whose introduction into armament improved the mobility, firepower and protection of infantry units on combat operations.
