On the occasion of marking Armistice Day in the First World War, and in accordance with the order of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, today, the Serbian Armed Forces Guard fired a 10-gun salute from six artillery pieces from the Sava Terrace on Kalemegdan.
Armistice Day in the First World War has been celebrated as a national holiday in Serbia since 2012, in memory of November 11, 1918, when the Entente forces signed the armistice with Germany and thus ended the First World War.
