Military Oath-Taking Ceremony

A military ceremony on the occasion of taking the military oath has been held at the “Field Marshal Živojin Mišić” Barracks in Valjevo today.
In front of the flag of the Republic of Serbia, soldiers on voluntary military service since September 2023 took the oath, as well as cadets of the 148th class of the Military Academy and 15th class of the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy, students of the Reserve Officers Course and 51st class of the Professional Military High School “1300 Corporals”.
Today, they have pledged to protect and defend the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
The oath-taking ceremony has been attended by Minister of Defense Miloš Vučević, Commander of the Training Command Major General Željko Petrović, representatives of organizational units of the Ministry of Defense and Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, local government bodies and religious communities, as well as relatives and friends of the young men and women who joined the ranks of defenders of the fatherland.
