Visit of Chief of National Guard of the Republic of Cyprus

At the invitation extended by the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović, the Chief of National Guard of the Republic of Cyprus Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis has arrived to pay an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
The visit is aimed at discussing the current politico-security situation in the region, exchanging experiences in the area of armed forces engagement in fighting Covid-19 and further advancing the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the National Guard of the Republic of Cyprus.
The formal welcome ceremony took place earlier today on the premises of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff followed by official talks between General Mojsilović and General Zervakis and their two delegations. During the meeting, traditionally good and friendly relations between our two countries were highlighted and readiness to further enhance the level of cooperation achieved so far in the areas of mutual interest, primarily in the military-to-military domain, was expressed.
During his official visit to the Republic of Serbia, General Zervakis will visit the Ministry of Defence and 72nd Special Operations Brigade, and will lay a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Mount Avala.
