2nd Army Brigade Day Marked

A military ceremony was held today on the occasion of the Second Army Brigade Day in the "Ribnica" barracks in Kraljevo, which is commemorated on July 12, 1805, when Serbian insurgents liberated Karanovac, today's Kraljevo.
As part of celebrating the holiday, the results of the unit in the period behind us were summarized and awards and recognitions were presented to the best individuals. Today, Patron Saint of the Petrovdan brigade was also marked – a holiday dedicated to the holy apostles Peter and Paul.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Army Commander, Major General Slađan Stamenković, representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces units, local government bodies, religious communities, veterans' associations, as well as organizations and companies with which the unit cooperates.
