Serbian Armed Forces Member Most Successful Local Competitor at Belgrade Marathon

At the 36th Belgrade Marathon held yesterday, the most successful local competitor was Sergeant Đuro Borbelj from the 1st Army Brigade.
He ran the 42.2 km track in 02:42:57, winning the 5th place and leaving behind a number of professional athletes from the country and abroad.
More than 150 SAF members took part in this most visited sporting event in the country, and the winners of the marathon were Lahgar Chakib from Morocco and woman from Ethiopia Feyne Gudeto Gameda.
The excellent result scored by Sergeant Borbelj at the 36th Belgrade Marathon is a continuation of successful performances by members of the Serbian Armed Forces at numerous local and international competitions, where they represent our armed forces and state in a dignified manner.
