Final Preparations for SAF Capabilities Demonstration "Granite 2023"

At Military Airfield "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" in Batajnica final preparations are underway for SAF Capabilities Demonstration "Granite 2023" to be held on Saturday, 22 April 2023, on the occasion of the Serbian Armed Forces Day.
At the demonstration, the state leadership and citizens will be presented with capabilities of some SAF units, modern weapons and military equipment at their disposal and part of the domestic defense industry’s production program. There will be approximately 5,000 SAF members with more than 2,300 pieces of materiel making it the greatest demonstration of SAF forces and capabilities so far.
SAF members involved in intense preparations at Batajnica Airfield have been visited today by Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović. In a conversation with Demonstration Commander Lieutenant General Duško Žarković and during the visit he saw personally that complex and demanding preparations are progressing at the defined rate, that the engaged personnel are exceptionally motivated and that they have undertaken this assignment professionally.
General Mojsilović has invited the citizens to come to Batajnica Airfield on Saturday, to have a look at the capabilities demonstration and exhibited weapons and see for themselves that the Serbian Armed Forces are now a respectable force and factor one must count on thanks to a large investment cycle initiated a couple of years ago.
The main part of the SAF Capabilities Demonstration "Granite 2023" program begins at 11 a.m., and the gates of Military Airfield "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" will be open for citizens from 09 a.m. to 03 p.m.
