Visit to Army Training Centre

Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has visited the Army Training Centre at the “General Pavle Jurišić Šturm” Barracks in Požarevac.
During the tour of this Training Command unit, he inspected the organization of life and work, state of affairs, operational and functional capabilities and attended the segments of training of professional soldiers, soldiers on military service and candidates for non-commissioned officers of the Serbian Armed Forces.
General Mojsilović also attended a workshop related to the implementation of new solutions to protect tank crews on the battlefield, organized by the Council of Armored Units at this barracks today.
Expressing his satisfaction with the expertise of professional staff and commitment of training participants, but also with the fact that the training capacities have been significantly improved in the recent period by the acquisition of modern equipment and trainers, the Chief of the General Staff has pointed out that the investments in this Centre will continue so that it can successfully meet the training requirements for permanent and reserve components of the Army branches in the conditions of intensive equipping with modern weapons.
During today’s tour, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff has been accompanied by Commander of the Training Command Major General Zoran Nasković.
