Senior Officers of Serbia and Hungary Participate in Traditional Sporting Event

Generals and senior officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defence Forces have taken part in a traditional futsal tournament on the pitches of Football Club "TSC" in Bačka Topola.
The match took place in a fair and friendly atmosphere, adding thus towards strengthening further the overall bilateral relations between Serbia and Hungary. The score was put in the background; this time, however, the HDF team won the tournament.
The guests were led by HDF Commander Lieutenant General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, while our team was headed by Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković.
It was the 12th football match played by generals and senior officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defence Forces. Such tournaments have been taking place since 2015, in Serbia and Hungary alternately, and are an example of numerous bilateral activities of the two militaries whose purpose is strengthening mutual confidence and good neighborly relations.
