Increased Presence of Military Police in Major Cities

Based on the conclusions of the National Security Council, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and security services, the Serbian Armed Forces are undertaking precautionary measures and preventive actions to increase the security of citizens, facilities and institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
The presence of Military Police patrols in the squares, parks and streets of major cities, shopping malls, railway stations, Belgrade Fair and other busy places has also been increased.
The safety and security of citizens is a priority, and, in accordance with the Constitution, law and decisions of the state leadership, the Serbian Armed Forces remain ready to engage their forces and resources and, together with other security forces, make sure that all citizens of the Republic of Serbia sleep peacefully.
