Promotion and Appointment Decrees in Serbian Armed Forces

Today, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić presented decrees issued by the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, promoting and appointing SAF officers to new duties. The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović.
Brigadier General Zoran Dragićević has been promoted to the rank of Major General and appointed as Deputy Army Commander, while Colonel Slađan Hristov has been appointed as Head of the Human Resources Directorate (J-1), Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
Congratulating the two members of the Serbian Armed Forces, Minister Gašić expressed his belief that they would achieve enviable results in their respective new roles in the Army and the Human Resources Directorate, and that they would continue to carry out tasks assigned to them in a professional manner. He wished the two officers much success in their future career.
Major General Zoran Dragićević was born on August 13, 1969, in Loznica. His professional military career started in 1988. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1991, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2000, and the General Staff Course in 2012. Until now, he performed the role of Chief of Staff of the Army Command.
Colonel Slađan Hristov was born on March 20, 1970, in Surdulica. His professional military career started in 1992. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1992, obtained his master’s degree in occupational safety engineering in 2011, and his PhD in the same field of study in 2019. Until now, he performed the role of Head of Office of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
