KFOR Commander’s Farewell Visit

Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has received the current KFOR Commander Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia, who will hand over the duty of commander of international forces in Kosovo and Metohija next month.
At the meeting held at the General Staff, the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and results of cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR during the mandate of General Ristuccia were discussed.
With the assessment that the situation in the Province is still unstable, it has been pointed out that the professional cooperation of the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR at all levels in the recent period has been in the function of reducing tension on the ground and preventing the crisis from escalating.
At the end of the meeting, General Mojsilović thanked the Italian general for the cooperation, which had been correct, and his personal commitment to establishing a safe environment in Kosovo and Metohija, and wished him success in his new duties.
