Serbian Armed Forces drivers won the third place and a bronze medal in the final team race, which was the main event in the discipline "Military Rally" of the International Military Games.
The team race is specific in that all four off-road vehicles move together, in a group and that all vehicles must complete the race. If a vehicle malfunction occurs during the race, crews are expected to remove the malfunction using an individual tool kit. The track for the team race is the most difficult and the longest, and our team covered about 200 kilometers in just under four hours, and they successfully eliminated faults on two vehicles. That brought them third place, behind the teams of Russia and China.
By winning a bronze medal in the final team race, members of the Serbian Armed Forces completed the competition in the discipline "Military Rally", held in the city of Kyzyl in the far east of the Russian Federation. Previously, our team won the third place in the race with live fire, as well as the silver and bronze medals in individual races in the category of non-combat vehicles 4x4 and 6x6 "Kamaz" and "Ural".
In addition to the Serbian Armed Forces team, teams from the armed forces of Israel, Mongolia, China, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Russia also competed for medals in the "Military Rally" discipline.
