Visit of the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff

At the invitation of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, is on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
Today, General Floros visited the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, where he talked with General Mojsilović about the current political and security situation in the region and the possibilities for further improvement of bilateral military cooperation.
During the talks, it was jointly stated that the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Greek Armed Forces was developed, substantial and characterized by constant quantitative and qualitative improvement, which contributes to the development of operational capabilities and further strengthening of trust and friendly relations.
Activities in the field of training and exercises were highlighted as the main areas of military-military cooperation, as well as the joint engagement of the Serbian and Greek Armed Forces in the EU Battle Group, in which Greece is the leading nation.
During his stay in the Republic of Serbia, General Konstatinos Floros laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Avala and had separate meetings with the Ministers of Defence and Foreign Affairs, Nebojša Stefanović, PhD and Nikola Selaković.
