International Tactical-flight Exercise "BARS-2021"

Members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Russian Federation Aerospace Forces began a joint tactical-flight exercise "BARS-2021" today, which will be conducted this week on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
The exercise is conducted with the aim of training the crews of fighter aviation and helicopter units for performing combat tasks in day and night conditions, as well as improving the training of the commands of air units for executive command in operations.
Flight activities will consist of airspace control and protection tasks and search and rescue tasks. They will be conducted in the airspace of the Republic of Serbia, at the military airports in Batajnica and Lađevci and at the "Pasuljanske livade" range, and they will be performed by mixed crews in the aircraft of the Serbian Air Force and Air Defence. For the first time this year, Mi-35 helicopters will also take part in the exercise.
The tactical-flight exercise "BARS 2021" (Brotherhood of Aviators of Russia and Serbia) is the sixth exercise in a row in which Russian and Serbian pilots exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of combat use of aircraft that are in the armament of both militaries.
