Study Visit of General Staff Course Students

Participants of the 65th class of the General Staff College of the School of National Defence paid a study visit to the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff today.
The visit was conducted within the study visit from the subject Strategy, with the aim that officers attending this level of career development see the place and role of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff in the defence system, as well as the functions and tasks it implements.
The Chief of the Operations Directorate (J-3), Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović, spoke to the participants about the challenges and perspectives of developing the capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces, and the chiefs of the Development and Equipment Directorate (J-5) and the Training and Doctrine Directorate (J-7), Brigadier Generals Milan Popović and Petar Latković, also spoke.
General Staff College is the third level of special training programs for officers at the University of Defence, during which students are trained to perform the highest command and management duties in the defence system.
