TO MEMBERS OF THE SERBIAN ARMED FORCES
ON THE OCCASION OF 23 APRIL — SERBIAN ARMED FORCES DAY
I wish to offer my heartfelt greetings to the Serbian Armed Forces members on the occasion of 23 April — Serbian Armed Forces Day.
In the recent period, you have completed a number of assignments, scored outstanding training results and sustained the required level of operational capabilities. Through your remarkable participation in safeguarding peace in multinational peacekeeping operations and providing assistance to civilian population during emergencies, you confirmed the Serbian Armed Forces’ readiness to perform all their tasks in the assigned missions.
Every day, we bear witness to new challenges and threats both regionally and globally. Professional, highly moral, determined and trained armed forces, that is, the ones we have, are always there for their people, always first and prepared.
By participating in activities on the domestic and international level and improving cooperation and partnership with the armed forces of numerous countries around the world, you represented our army worthily and maintained its reputation and trust among the citizens of Serbia.
Dear colleagues — members of the Serbian Armed Forces,
I am confident that we will jointly perform all the assigned tasks in the future as well, making full contribution to developing a strong and modern Serbia, to the highest European and global standards.
