Flight Training with H-145M Helicopters

Members of the helicopter squadron from the 98th Air Force Brigade, whose armament includes the H-145M helicopter, are undergoing regular training in performing intended flying tasks.
This training is carried out in order to sustain and raise the pilots’ and technical staff’s competence in using efficiently this type of aircraft on combat and non-combat operations in all weather conditions, day and night.
In accordance with the training program, during training flights at low altitudes, pilots are practicing the execution of patrol and reconnaissance tasks, landing and take-off from unsecured terrain in restricted visibility, during precipitation and wind gusts, as well as the procedures applied while fulfilling more complex tasks that require the engagement of more aircraft.
Along with flight training, technical staff of all specialties is also undergoing training necessary to maintain proper functioning and high availability of aircraft for flying, keeping the focus in particular on training additionally young officers who have recently been admitted to the unit.
The multi-purpose light helicopter H-145M is intended for transporting people and material, SAR, medical transport, reconnaissance, battlefield observation and fire support.
