President of Republic Issued Decrees on Appointments of Serbian Armed Forces’ Officers

Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic Aleksandar Vučić has issued decrees on the appointments of the Serbian Armed Forces’ officers to new duties.

Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić has handed over decrees today, in the presence of Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović.

Colonel Stanisav Mijailović was appointed Head of the Development and Equipment Directorate (J-5) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, while Colonel Aleksandar Stupar was appointed Commander of the 63rd Parachute Brigade.

While expressing gratitude for their professionalism, dedicated work and effort during their military career, Minister Gašić and General Mojsilović congratulated them on their appointments and wished them every success in their new responsible roles.

Colonel Stanisav Mijailović was born on September 13, 1971, in Leposavić. He has been in professional military service since 1994. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1994, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2012 and General Staff Course in 2017. So far, he has been Deputy Head of the Office of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.

Colonel Aleksandar Stupar was born on November 18, 1980, in Ruma. He has been in professional military service since 2004. He graduated from the Military Academy in 2004, completed the Command and Staff Course in 2021 and General Staff Course in 2023. He served as Deputy Commander of the 63rd Parachute Brigade.
