Celebrating the IT Service Day

The Day of the IT Service and the Day of the Command and Information Systems and IT Support Centre have been marked today at the IT and Telecommunications Department (J-6) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff and the Centre.
Summing up the results of the SAF IT Service so far, the Head of the IT and Telecommunications Department (J-6), Colonel Ljubiša Đolović pointed out that the Service has achieved a high continuity of the IT support, along with the improvement of information safety and training of personnel.
During the ceremony, the most prominent members of the IT Service received awards for their work in the previous year.
The Day of the IT Service and the Day of the Command and Information Systems and IT Support Centre are celebrated on 21 February to commemorate the day in 1963 when the YPA General Staff 6th Department was established, with the purpose of improving the administrative service.
