Preparations for “Flag 2024” Display of Serbian Armed Forces’ Capabilities

As the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag approaches, the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces are undertaking intense preparation for the "Flag 2024" display of capabilities, which will be held on Sunday, September 15 at the military airport "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" in Batajnica.
More than 6,000 members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces will take part in the display and around 2,500 weapons and pieces of military equipment and more than 50 aircraft will be involved in it.
Visitors will be able to watch the air show, a demonstration of Special Forces’ and Air Force and Air Defence’s capabilities, and a march-past conducted by the Serbian Armed Forces units.
The gates of the military airport in Batajnica will open at 9:30 a.m. and all visitors will be able to see the display of modern weapons and military equipment, as well as assets that are in the development phase, until 3 p.m.
The aircraft of the Serbian Armed Forces will make a number of flyovers over the City of Belgrade from September 10 to 15 in preparation for the air show.
