Exercise Activities of the River Flotilla on Tisa River near Titel

As part of the joint tactical exercise with live fire "Lightning Strike 2021", members of the River Flotilla are conducting tactical training and exercises on Tisa river near Titel in cooperation with the Air Force and Air Defence.
During the exercise, the tactical actions and procedures of the Serbian Armed Forces river units are played out to prevent the penetration of enemy river forces into the depth of the distribution of their own units by defending the waterway.
With skillful maneuvering of vessels in cooperation with fighter-bomber aviation, tactical actions are conducted on blocking and controlling the waterway, landing and establishing a ferry crossing point, with the protection of River Flotilla ships, while numerous other situations are played out in which members of river units can be engaged during implementation of combat operations in the area of waterways.
Around 300 members of the Serbian Armed Forces from the Army and the Air Force and Air Defence, 12 ships, four aircraft, three amphibious transporters and more than 25 other vessels are deployed at the training ground near Titel.
Exercise activities at the temporary range "Titel" are part of a joint tactical exercise with live fire "Lightning Strike 2021", which is conducted at eight locations throughout the Republic of Serbia by units of the Army in cooperation with the Air Force and Air Defence, 72nd Special Operations Brigade and 63rd Parachute Brigade.
