Regional course for logistics officers in multinational operations ends

The course, which lasted from 1 to 12 December, had 23 participants (15 from SAF and eight officers from Austria, BiH, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovenia and Montenegro). The course was organized by the officers from MoD and SAF as well as officers from Austria and Greece.
The regional for logistics officers in multinational operations-LOGC PSO 08- ended today in the SAF GS Joint Operations Command.
The course, which lasted from 1 to 12 December, had 23 participants (15 from SAF and eight officers from Austria, BiH, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovenia and Montenegro). The course was organized by the officers from MoD and SAF as well as officers from Austria and Greece.
The course was closed by the Head of the Peace Operations Center Colonel Jelisije Radivojevic and the Austrian DA to Belgrade Josef Helcl. They pointed out the importance of the role logistic officers have in multinational operations which is why providing them with top-quality training is of extreme importance.
The course contributed to developing attendants’ capabilities to carry out the logistics officers’ duties in the commands at the battalion level as well as in the national support element. Special attention was paid to procedures for securing continuous supply of materiel and to secure other types of service specified in contracts.
