The international course in the field of civil-military cooperation, which was organized by the Department for Civil-Military Cooperation (J-9) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, ended today with the presentation of a certificate at the "Car Lazar" barracks in Kruševac.

In addition to officers and non-commissioned officers of the Serbian Armed Forces, the course was also attended by members of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Italy, the United States of America and the Netherlands, who deal with civil-military cooperation, as well as representatives of civil institutions from the Republic of Serbia.

During the two-week training, they mastered theoretical content on the responsibilities and activities of civil organizations in the areas of multinational operations and underwent practical training for working on various duties in teams and units of civil-military cooperation at the tactical level.

Practical and theoretical training was carried out by a mixed team of instructors from the Serbian Armed Forces and the armed forces of Italy, the USA and the Netherlands, as well as guest lecturers from the Sector for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of the Interior, the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration and the Red Cross of Serbia.

The successful conduct of this international training improved the skills of officers and non-commissioned officers of the Serbian Armed Forces in the field of cooperation with non-military structures, and this was also a good opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from other countries.
