Preparations for “Flag 2024” Display of Capabilities

Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Gen. Milan Mojsilović attended today the preparation for the display of the Serbian Armed Forces’ capabilities "Flag 2024", which will be held on Friday, September 20 at "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" military airport in Batajnica.
Minister Gašić expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing preparations for the upcoming capabilities demonstration, as well as his belief that the service members would do their best to present the Serbian Armed Forces in the best possible way and that the citizens who visit the military airport in Batajnica on Friday, September 20, would enjoy the programme.
More than 6,000 members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, around 2,500 weapons and pieces of military equipment and more than 50 aircraft will be involved in the demonstration.
The event is open to the public. At the military airport in Batajnica, visitors will be able to see FK-3, HQ-17 and Pantsir air defence missile systems, modernized MiG-29 SM and Eagle (Orao) aircraft, Mi-35, H-145M and Mi-17 helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, Kornet anti-tank missile systems, Miloš, Lazar-3, BOV OT and Hummer armoured combat vehicles, 155mm NORA self-propelled gun howitzers, Oganj self-propelled multiple missile launchers, modern optronic devices and other weapons and military equipment.
