Tour of Some Forces for Airspace Control and Protection

Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has visited members of the missile battery for the control and protection of sovereignty of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia, which is on permanent combat duty, in the Kragujevac Garrison.
Accompanied by the Commander of the 250th Air Defense Missile Brigade, of which this unit forms part, he observed the execution of intended tasks and state of affairs in the missile battery, and he also attended a demonstration of work of combat shifts as the forces were being transferred to a higher level of readiness.
On that occasion, General Mojsilović has made sure that the duty unit is ready and technically qualified and that its members are highly trained and motivated to carry out an important task, which lasts 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
In a conversation with the unit members, the Chief of the General Staff praised them for their dedicated and professional attitude towards all assigned tasks and wished a Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all Orthodox members of the Serbian Armed Forces, good health, personal, family and military happiness.
Today’s tour has been attended by Air Force and Air Defense Commander Lieutenant General Duško Žarković, Heads of the Logistics Directorate (J-4) and Human Resources Directorate (J-1) of the General Staff, Major General Srđan Petković and Brigadier General Savo Iriškić, as well as Head of the Office of the Chief of General Staff Colonel Slađan Hristov.
