Major Robert Kaloci Buried

Major Robert Kaloci, the pilot who was tragically killed as the G-4 Super Galeb plane crashed, was buried today at the Great Catholic Cemetery in Sombor with the highest military honours.

Earlier today, the commemoration service for Major Kaloci was also held.
 
Bidding farewell to the colleague pilot, at the commemorative gathering at the National Theater in Sombor, the Commander of the Flight Test Center of the Technical Test Center, Lieutenant Colonel Zoran Lunić, said that Major Robert Kaloci was a “great man”.
 
- He flew into the lines of the eternal celestial aircraft squadron, crowned with glory and honour of the profession to live forever, Lieutenant Colonel Lunić said.
 
On behalf of the class of Major Kaloci, his classmate and a friend Vladimir Nikolić spoke.
 
- My friend, my classmate, I am not going to address you using those template words about the country. Your choice and your happiness were and remained the sky. May the sky be blue for you my friend, Nikolić said.
 
Those present at the commemorative gathering were presented a short film about Major Kaloci.
 
Apart from the family members, friends and colleagues of the perished pilot, the funeral and commemoration service were attended by the representative of the President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander Milorad Veljović, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Ljubiša Diković, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense, Major General Ranko Živak and members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
 
Major Robert Kaloci performed the duty of a test pilot at the Flight Test Centre of the Technical Test Centre. He was married and the father of one child.
