Spanish Soldiers Train at CBRN Training Center

Members of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Spain are undergoing live agent training at the CBRN Training Center of the Serbian Armed Forces.
This training is carried out in specialized laboratories and at the Training Ground “Ravnjak” in Kruševac, with professional support of instructors from our Center, the goal being to improve knowledge about live agents, occupational safety measures, and provide practical live agent training for members of the Spanish CBRN units.
The two-week training program includes theoretical and practical lessons in this field. The focus is on reconnaissance of contaminated land and facilities, performing chemical detection and decontamination of weapons and equipment, and providing medical assistance in case of live agent poisoning.
Live agent training of members of the Spanish Armed Forces has been implemented at the CBRN Training Center of the Serbian Armed Forces since 2016. This training is one of the numerous Serbia-Spain bilateral military cooperation activities, aimed at strengthening mutual confidence and overall relations between these two countries.
