Training for Flying at Night on Mi-35 Helicopters

Pilots and technicians from the 714th Anti Armour Helicopter Squadron of the 98th Air Force Brigade are currently conducting training for flying at night on the Mi-35 helicopters.
The training is conducted in the area of the "Morava" airport and it represents a specific and very demanding type of training for pilots. It is conducted in order to maintain and improve training level of the unit personnel for the performance of tasks at night and in the conditions of reduced visibility.
The Mi-35 helicopters (military designation HB-47) are used for combat operations against ground targets as a part of air fire support to the Army. It can also engage targets in the air, carry out transport of personnel and cargo, reconnaissance and patrol tasks, as well as landing teams. They have protection against the effects of infantry weapons and are equipped with modern navigation devices, digital indicators, electronic indicators and surveillance systems.
