Everything is Ready for Lightning Strike 2021 on Pešter

More than 2,300 members of the Serbian Armed Forces continue with intensive training activities at the temporary range "Pešter", which will culminate on Sunday, June 27, with a joint exercise of a strengthened tactical group in conducting an offensive operation.
At this location, the exercise is conducted by units of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, 72nd Special Operations Brigade and 63rd Parachute Brigade, using tanks, combat vehicles, artillery systems and equipment, airplanes, helicopters, remotely piloted aircraft, air defense systems and infantry and special units armament.
Today, the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, attended the exercise activities on the Pešter plateau, which are being conducted within the joint tactical exercise with live fire "Lightning Strike 2021", and who, on this occasion, could confirm the high level of training and interaction of all branches of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The joint tactical exercise with live fire "Lightning Strike 2021" is conducted in interaction of units of both services of the Serbian Armed Forces, at several locations across the country, in order to test operational capabilities to respond to challenges, risks and threats to the security of citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
